What is a PAN Card?
A PAN (Permanent Account Number) card is a 10-character alphanumeric identity document issued by the Income Tax Department of India, mainly used to track financial transactions and file income tax returns.

UAN (Universal Account Number) is a 12-digit identifier used to connect an eligible employee's EPF records across jobs. A UAN is different from the employer-specific Member IDs and PF records linked to it. EPFO and UMANG procedures can change, so verify the current instructions on the official services.
