Where our content comes from
Every Samjho guide starts from an official source: government releases (Press Information Bureau and ministry websites), regulator publications (RBI, SEBI, GST Council, EPFO, UIDAI) or official service portals. Guide pages list their official sources so anything we explain can be verified against the primary document.
Our quality bar
- Every published guide must carry at least 300 words of substantive explanation and 3 FAQs.
- Test entries, placeholder releases and stub pages are never published — an automated quality gate rejects them at publish time.
- We do not publish unverifiable claims: no subscriber counts, no view-count numbers, no "trusted by X people" statistics.
Content that does not meet the bar is expanded before publishing — not published and hidden.
How content is produced
Official releases are collected through an internal pipeline that drafts first versions from the source documents. Nothing goes live automatically: each draft must pass schema validation, the quality gate described above, and an explicit approval step before it can be published. The "Last updated" date shown on every guide reflects the last review.
Corrections
If something on Samjho is wrong or out of date, tell us through the contact page — mention the exact page and what needs fixing. Urgent corrections (wrong calculator numbers, outdated scheme rules) are prioritised, and every fix is reflected in the guide's last-updated date.
Independence
Samjho is an independent information platform — not a government website, a bank or a financial institution — and it does not sell products or personalised advice. Calculators run entirely in your browser. See the about page and disclaimer for the full picture.
