JEE Main is the route to engineering seats in NITs, IIITs and many other institutions, and it is also the qualifying exam for JEE Advanced, which governs IIT admission. NEET UG is the single national entrance exam for MBBS and BDS seats. CUET UG is used by many central and participating universities for admission to their undergraduate programmes, including B.A., B.Sc., B.Com and others.
CLAT is the Common Law Admission Test used by the National Law Universities for their undergraduate law programmes; it is conducted by the Consortium of National Law Universities, not by NTA. On top of these, many states run their own engineering, medical or management entrance exams, and some colleges have their own entrance tests.
