Mohammad Bilal

Mohammad Bilal is the founder and editor of Samjho India. He writes and reviews plain-language guides on Indian money, documents, government schemes and education.

About Mohammad Bilal

Mohammad Bilal started Samjho India to make the paperwork of everyday Indian life easier to understand — the payslip, the loan offer, the scholarship form, the scheme application. He writes and reviews every guide with one question in mind: would a smart person with no finance background understand this on the first read?

He is responsible for the site's editorial direction: choosing what to cover, checking official links and figures, and correcting pages when a rule changes. He is not a government officer, a bank employee or a licensed financial adviser, and Samjho does not pretend otherwise.

What he covers

  • Money basics — EMIs, GST, credit scores, interest and household budgeting.
  • Documents — PAN, Aadhaar, Udyam, voter ID and other official paperwork.
  • Government schemes — eligibility, benefits, documents and application steps.
  • Education — CGPA, scholarships, admissions and student finance.
  • Small business — registration, compliance and official portals.

How he works

Every guide starts with an official source: the department's notification, the regulator's circular or the scheme's own portal. He writes in plain English, links the primary source, and updates a page when the rule changes. The editorial policy explains the full process, including the 48-hour correction target for verified errors.
